MA Candidate in Hispanic Literature

Ana graduated with a bachelors in Spanish and a Minor in Italian at the University of New Mexico. Currently, she is working on getting her Masters in Spanish literature. Her interests are varied but they include, exploring the connection between literature, philosophy and religion, the art of writing and its power,  history and literature of early modern Spain, gender and social myths, and expression using film. She is also interested in learning along the way, how to apply the significance of literature to more fields and create innovative ways in which people will find the power of literature in fields of study that are not just only a part of the College of Arts and Sciences.
