Joely Magdalena Morales Villela is from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from UNM. Currently, she is an MA Candidate in Hispanic Literature with a background in Hispanic Linguistics. Her primary interests are feminism in literature and the benefits of literature for general education. Her goal is to become a Professor of Spanish Literature to promote the importance of literature in general education and to become a writer as well. Also, she is part of SPGSA Spanish and Portuguese Graduate Student Association) and the current president of Sigma Delta Pi (National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society).
