S&P PhD Candidate Awarded LAII Field Research Grant

Diego Bustos, PhD candidate in Spanish and Portuguese, has been awarded a LAII Field Research Grant for summer 2017. The grant provides funding for exploratory field research in Latin America and the opportunity to develop independent research projects. Bustos will use this award to conduct preliminary field research in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)l on the cultural politics of class and citizenship in contemporary literature and activism.
