This week, Laura Vega highlights our Alumni Spotlight. She is currently brining justice in our state of New Mexico as a Lawyer.
Laura graduated magna cum laude from University of New Mexico in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish. In 2010, she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law, and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 2010. She is licensed to practice in New Mexico State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.
Currently, she is a member of the Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association and the New Mexico Women's Bar Association. Laura was named to the New Mexico Super Lawyer's Rising Star list, only 2.5% of lawyers in the state under 40 years old are named to the list. Her primary areas of practice include wrongful death and personal injury litigation, insurance coverage analysis and general civil litigation.
