Himanshi is pursuing a PhD. in Spanish Language and Literature at The University of New Mexico where she is also a Teaching Assistant. She graduated with M.A. in Hispanic Literature from the University of New Mexico. Before arriving to UNM she worked for 3 years at the Immigration Department of the Embassy of Mexico as a Spanish, English, Hindi, Punjabi Translator and Immigration Assistant. She is fluent in 3 languages: Hindi, English, Spanish, and has limited working proficiency in Punjabi.
