Biography

Rosana comes to the University of New Mexico from Béjar, a small town in the province of Salamanca (Spain). She is a master's student in Hispanic Literature at UNM as well as a teaching assistant in the Spanish as a Second Language Program. She obtained her B.A. in English Philology at the University of Salamanca in 2023. Her areas of interest include American Spanish Literature and the historical, epic and essayistic literature of Hispanic Southwest Studies. After her master's degree, Rosana intends to pursue a PhD in Spanish with a specialization in Literature and Cultural Studies.
