Biography
Analy Morales-Chavez is a proud first-generation college student. She holds a double B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from the University of New Mexico. Analy has excelled as a professional interpreter, founding and operating AM Language Solutions, which serves New Mexico’s Spanish-speaking communities. Analy is now pursuing a Master’s in Hispanic Southwest Studies in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese to strengthen her language access efforts in New Mexico and beyond. She is also a Teaching Assistant in the Spanish Heritage Language (SHL) program. Analy’s research interests include the intersection of language and culture and language access justice. In her spare time, Analy loves to travel, craft, cycle, spend time with her loved ones, and read novels.
