Michael-Angelo Brooks was born and raised in Central New Mexico. He comes from the Garduño family of Bernalillo, Nuevo México. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of New Mexico. He is interested in Existential Philosophy; Nuevomexicano Ontologies, Identity, History, and Culture.
