Biography
Victor M. Candia was born in Manhattan, Kansas (The Little Apple) to a Chilean father and Spanish mother. He grew up in Spain from the age of five and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Granada. He is currently pursuing his MA in Latin American and Iberian Literature at UNM and is a teaching assistant in Spanish. His fields of interest are studies of dissident masculinities and narratives about marginal metropolitan neighborhoods. He is also interested in anything related to the arts, performance, and fashion design.
