Biography

Luz Elena Becerril was born and raised in Guanajuato, México, where she received her BA in Pedagogy. She was a highschool teacher in her hometown. She is a current MA student of hispanic literature in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She has published her poetry in several books and magazines. She has participated in book signings and poetry festivals.  Lucy enjoys traveling, reading, wrtiting poetry, embroidering and  sunsets are her favorite part of the day.
