Biography
Miguel López Lozano's areas of specialization are Mexican and Chicano literature, 20th and 21st centuries Latin American literature and Border Studies. His articles have appeared on both sides of the U.S. - Mexico Border and Europe. He is the author of Utopian Dreams, Apocalyptic Nightmares: Globalization in Recent Mexican and Chicano Narrative (Purdue University Press, 2008). His current research focuses on globalization and the relation of Mexico, the United States and Central America through the language of violence and historical trauma.Research Interests
