Querencias 2025 Intercultural Education and Identity Narratives in the Hispanic-Lusophone-Brazilian Space

The central focus of the 5th convocation of Querencias revolves around theoretical and methodological advances that contribute to rethinking the curriculum in language and literature education from diverse perspectives. We welcome proposals for presentations or themed panels.
While research on the central theme is encouraged, areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Lusophone-Brazilian
- Language and Literature
- Studies
- Southwest Studies
- Border Studies
- Linguistics
- Language Acquisition
- Postcolonial Studies
- Indigneous Studies
- Cultural Studies
- Iberian/Spanish-American
- Literature
- Latin American Literature
- Gender & Sexuality Studies
- Religious Studies
Submission Guidelines:
- For presentations: an abstract of up to 500 words (excluding any tables and references). Presentations may have multiple presenters. An individual may participate in up to 2 presentations (1 individual and 1 group).
- For themed panels: a single proposal including the topic (300 words) and an additional description of each presenter's contribution (maximum 500 words each). Themed panels should consist of up to 3 presenters plus 1 moderator.
- Include any keywords that are relevant to your presentation.
- Do not include personal information in the abstract.
- Abstracts may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English.
- Presentations will be 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A.
- Indicate preferred modality: virtual or in-person. In-person presentations will be prioritized, as the number of virtual presentations will be limited.
