Biography

Lawrence was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  He graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Chemistry.  He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Spanish with a focus in Hispanic Southwest Studies. He also serves as a teaching assistant at the university to undergraduates in the SSL program.  His areas of interest include the Spanish of New Mexico and Southern Colorado, cultural practices and traditions of northern New Mexico, and studies on the formation and development of the complex, and diverse cultural and ethnic identities found throughout New Mexico History. Other passions include cooking, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing all over the Land of Enchantment
